A foundations-first remediation track for Grade 7–8 students who need to rebuild the essential skills that Grade 6 math is built on. Five short units, three interactive lessons each, every lesson tagged with the Grade 6 standard it unlocks. Each lesson follows the same path: Learn It → Try It → Practice → Exit Ticket.

Place value, comparing and rounding, multi-digit addition, subtraction, multiplication, and long division, plus order of operations.
Unit R2 · Builds 6.NS.1🍕 Fraction Foundations
Model fractions, find equivalent fractions, compare and order, add and subtract with like and unlike denominators, and multiply fractions.
Unit R3 · Builds 6.NS.3💵 Decimals & Money
Decimal place value, comparing and rounding, adding and subtracting money, multiplying and dividing decimals, and the fraction–decimal link.
Unit R4 · Builds 6.NS.4🧩 Factors, Multiples & Patterns
Factors, prime and composite numbers, multiples, greatest common factor and least common multiple, and number patterns with order of operations.
Unit R5 · Builds 6.RP & 6.G📐 Pre-Algebra & Geometry Readiness
Introduction to ratios and rates, perimeter and area of rectangles and triangles, and the coordinate plane with an introduction to integers.
For the Teacher
Using the Bridge
Who it's for: Grade 7–8 students who are working to close gaps and get ready for (or catch up within) Grade 6 math. Skills here are the upstream prerequisites for the Grade 6 standards.
How to assign: use a diagnostic to send students to the right unit, or move through R1 → R5 in order. Each lesson ends with a self-checking exit ticket, and lessons connect explicitly to the Grade 6 standard they unlock so students see the payoff.
